In power electronics, the most important component is the IGBT module. The voltage specification of the IGBT module is closely related to the input power supply voltage of the device used. See the IGBT module structure diagram for the relationship.

When the collector current of the IGBT module increases during use, the resulting rated loss also increases. At the same time, the switching loss increases, which intensifies the heating of the original. Therefore, the rated current should be greater than the load current when selecting the IGBT module.
Especially when used as a high-frequency switch, the IGBT module has increased switching loss and increased heat generation, so it should be used for cooling when selected.
IGBT modules have a wide range of applications, ranging from home appliances to strategic industries such as airplanes, ships, transportation, and power grids. IGBT modules are called the "CPU" in the power electronics industry.
Therefore, when using IGBT modules, different IGBT module products should be selected.
