Structure of KYN8A-12 high-voltage switchgear:

The main structure consists of two parts: a cabinet and a central withdrawable component. The cabinet is divided into four large compartments by metal baffles: circuit breaker compartment, busbar compartment, cable compartment, and relay instrument compartment. The protection level between each room is IP20, and the anti slip level of the shell is IP40.

Handcart section (removable parts):

1. According to different uses, it can be divided into four types: circuit breaker handcart, voltage transformer handcart, metering handcart, and isolation handcart. Due to the high precision of cabinet body, guide rail, and handcart processing, handcart of the same specification can be freely exchanged 100%.

2. The movable part, that is, the height of the handcart, is about one-third of the total height of the switchgear, and it is a central type with a small volume and reliable interlocking, making inspection and maintenance more convenient. The bottom is equipped with a turbine and worm propulsion mechanism, and the operator can easily shake it in and out.

3. The handcart has two positions inside the cabinet: experimental and working, each with a positioning device. When the handcart is in two positions, the display lights show their respective positions.

Prevent misoperation of interlocking devices:

There are warning buttons or KK type transfer switches installed on the instrument room door to prevent accidental closing and opening of circuit breakers

When the circuit breaker handcart is in the experimental or working position, the circuit breaker can only be opened and closed. However, after the circuit breaker is closed, the handcart cannot move, preventing accidental pushing and pulling of the handcart under load.

When the grounding switch is in the off position, both the lower and rear doors cannot be opened to prevent accidental entry into the live compartment.

When the circuit breaker handcart is indeed in the experimental or working position without controlling the voltage, the closing structure of the circuit breaker handcart is electromagnetic locked, so it can only be manually opened and cannot be closed.

The cabinet can be equipped with electrical interlocking, and an electromagnetic cable setting device can be added to the grounding switch operating mechanism.
