What are the ways to solve the summer heat dissipation problem of box transformer casing
Introduce some methods of ventilation and heat dissipation
To minimize the temperature rise inside the box transformer caused by solar radiation, a special reflective material can be coated on the surface of the box transformer casing to reflect off the infrared band of sunlight.
2. The combination of temperature control elements and exhaust fans is used for heat dissipation, and the temperature control elements control the operation of the exhaust fan based on the changes in internal temperature of the shell.
3. Install an exhaust fan on the top of the box transformer casing, with heat dissipation holes set around the top. Install a sloping heat dissipation channel on the roof at the upper end of the exhaust fan for evacuating excess heat. The excess heat inside the box is transported to the heat dissipation holes and sloping heat dissipation channels through the exhaust fan, so that there are heat dissipation channels around and above the box. By increasing the heat dissipation path, the internal heat dissipation efficiency is improved.
4. Install an inverted V-shaped ventilation device, with the air inlet located below the box door and the air outlet at the top of the four edges on the upper part of the box. The air inlet adopts an inverted V-shaped air inlet grid structure, which has a small air release resistance and a large wind speed and range for cold air to enter. Under the inertia of the wind, cold air flows towards the lower front of the box transformer casing, effectively entering the bottom and inner side of the box. The air outlet is located at the top of the box, and the high buoyancy of the air ensures ventilation uniformity, avoiding common local high temperatures, and has high ventilation efficiency. At the same time, the inverted V-type ventilation device has a high level of protection, which can effectively extend the service life of the transformer.
5. When designing the casing of the box transformer, local climatic conditions will be considered, and the capacity margin of the transformer will be appropriately increased. This will increase the upper limit of the alarm temperature inside the casing of the box transformer under the same load and temperature conditions.
The heat dissipation problem of the box transformer casing cannot be ignored. Through strong heat dissipation and ventilation methods, a better operating environment can be created for the distribution equipment inside the box transformer casing, providing favorable guarantees for the normal operation of the distribution equipment.
