Fuses should be installed on both the high and low voltage sides of the distribution transformer. The vertical distance between the bottom of the high-voltage side fuse and the ground should not be less than 4.5m, and the horizontal distance between each phase fuse should not be less than 0.5m. In order to facilitate the operation and the fuse tube can fall down smoothly after the fuse is broken, the axis of the drop fuse should be 15% ~ 30% Angle with the vertical line.
The vertical distance between the bottom of the low-voltage side fuse and the ground shall not be less than 3.5m, and the horizontal distance between the fuses of each phase shall not be less than 0.2m.
Drop type fuse switch fuse selection according to the principle of "distribution transformer internal or high and low voltage outlet pipe short circuit can be quickly fused" to select, fuse fuse fuse time must be less than or equal to 0.1s.
If the distribution transformer capacity is less than 100kVA, the rated current of the high voltage side fuse is 2 to 3 times of the rated current of the transformer capacity; If the capacity is above 100kVA, the rated current of the hV fuse is 1.5 ~ 2 times of the rated current of the transformer capacity.
The fuse of low-voltage side of transformer is selected according to the rated current of low-voltage side. Most of the external factors affecting the operation of distribution transformers come from lightning accidents. Therefore, transformer installed lightning protection device, should choose non-gap synthetic insulated metal oxide arrester, its power frequency voltage tolerance, good sealing, stable protection characteristics.
