Solution To The Failure Of High Voltage Switchgear Refusal To Move

The low-pressure machine started smoothly during the start-up of the centrifuge, but the K14 relay in the MMCP2 excitation cabinet tripped instantly when the high-pressure machine started. The K14 relay controls the communication between the MMCP2 cabinet and the MBM high-voltage switch cabinet in the centrifuge power distribution room. When driving, the MMCP sends a signal to close the MBM circuit breaker, the SFC cabinet starts self-checking, and the MBM and other equipment feedback the "ready" signal to start the start-up procedure.

After on-site inspection, it was determined that the MBM2 switchgear was faulty. Check the wiring terminals and high-voltage power strips of the MBM closing circuit one by one according to the schematic diagram, and it was found that poor contact of the terminals caused the closing circuit to fail and the MBM circuit breaker.

The high-voltage switchgear cannot operate normally. After measuring and tightening each terminal, the high-voltage machine was successfully reopened.
