Five steps for power outage operation of KYN28 AC metal enclosed switchgear
1) Observe all cabinet related signals and confirm that all outgoing cabinet circuit breakers are in the open position.
2) The switching switch causes the circuit breaker to open and power off, while the red closing indicator light on the instrument door is off and the green opening indicator light is on. Upon checking other relevant signals, everything is normal and the power outage is successful. (When operating the on/off switch, rotate the operating handle counterclockwise to the indicated open position on the panel. After releasing the handle, the operating handle should automatically reset to the pre open position.)
3) Insert the circuit breaker handcart handle into the handle socket and press it down with force. Rotate the handle counterclockwise for about 20 turns, and remove the handle when it is clearly blocked and accompanied by a "click" sound. At this time, the handcart is in the test position, and the aviation plug is unlocked. Open the handcart compartment door and manually release the aviation plug. (Handheld vehicle circuit disconnected)
4) Observe the live display and confirm that it is not live before continuing operation. (The lower door of the incoming cabinet is forcibly locked with an electromagnetic lock, which can only be unlocked when the incoming end is not energized. However, a key can also be used for emergency unlocking when the incoming end is energized. The opening of the incoming circuit breaker does not mean that the incoming cabinet is not energized. If the external power supply is not stopped, the cable room is charged with high voltage at this time, and forced entry is life-threatening.)
5) Open the lower door, conduct electrical testing (necessary), discharge (necessary), and hang the grounding wire (necessary). Maintenance personnel can enter for maintenance and repair.
The operation procedure of the backup power cabinet is the same as that of the main power cabinet.

Three steps for operating the measuring cabinet
1) The measuring handcart is directly connected to the moving and stationary contacts, and does not have the ability to break or extinguish arcs. It must not be shaken in or out with load.
2) The metering handcart and the circuit breaker of the incoming switchgear have electrical and mechanical interlocks. Only after the main power supply (backup power supply) circuit breaker is opened can the metering handcart be operated to swing in or out. Forced operation is not allowed to avoid damaging the interlocking device. When the measuring handcart is forcibly shaken out with load, the main power (backup power) circuit breaker will automatically open to avoid personal injury or death.
3) The method of shaking in and out the measuring handcart is the same as that of the circuit breaker handcart.
