Installation points of power distribution box

Power distribution box, also called power control box, is a kind of power distribution box. The distribution box is divided into power distribution box and lighting distribution box, which is the final equipment of the power distribution system. The distribution box is to assemble the switchgear, measuring instruments, protective appliances and auxiliary equipment in a closed or semi-closed metal cabinet or on the screen according to the electrical wiring requirements to form a low-voltage power distribution device.

The power distribution box has the advantages of small size, easy installation, special technical performance, fixed location, configuration function, not restricted by the site, universal application, stable and reliable operation, high space utilization, small footprint and environmental protection effect.

The production and installation of the power distribution box shall meet the following requirements:

1. The distribution box is made of iron plate or other fireproof insulating materials to achieve ventilation, heat dissipation, rain and fire prevention;

2. Various electrical appliances in the box should be installed on metal or other insulating boards (not wooden boards) and fastened in the box. The metal bottom plate should be electrically connected to the box body;

3. The metal shell, base, etc. of the normal non-live box must be connected to zero (ground), and connected through a dedicated terminal, and is separated from the protective neutral wiring terminal board. Insulated wires shall be used for all electrical connection wires, and the joints shall be reliable and shall not be exposed;

4. Rubber insulated cables must be used for incoming and outgoing wires, and the incoming and outgoing wires should be set on the lower end of the box, and a protective ring should be added. The incoming (outgoing) cables should be made waterproof and must not bear external forces.
