Indoor high-voltage vacuum circuit breaker is an indoor switchgear for a three-phase AC 50Hz power system with a rated voltage of 12kV. As the protection and control unit of power grid equipment and power equipment of industrial and mining enterprises. It is suitable for frequent operation under rated working current, or places where short-circuit current is interrupted many times.


It is an indoor switchgear with three-phase AC 50Hz rated voltage of 12KV power system. It is used as protection and control unit for power equipment and industrial and mining enterprises. Applicable to places that require frequent operation at rated operating current, or multiple times to break short-circuit current.

The circuit breaker adopts an integrated design of the operating mechanism and the circuit breaker body, and can be used as a fixed installation unit, or can be equipped with a special propulsion mechanism to form a hand truck unit.


Features: small size, light weight, suitable for frequent operation

Main structure: vacuum interrupter, electromagnetic or spring operating mechanism, bracket and other components.


Use environment

1. Ambient air temperature: upper limit +40°C, lower limit -15°C;

2. Altitude: ≤100m (if the altitude needs to be increased, the rated insulation level should be increased accordingly);

3. Amplitude: the degree of earthquake sequence does not exceed 8 degrees;

4. The daily average relative humidity of the air is not more than 95%, and the monthly average is not more than 90%

5. Places without fire, serious pollution, chemical corrosion and severe vibration.


The vacuum circuit breaker mainly consists of three parts: vacuum arc extinguishing chamber, operating mechanism, bracket, and other components.

1. Vacuum arc extinguishing chamber

According to the different types of switches, there are ceramic vacuum arc extinguishing chambers with external screens, small vacuum arc extinguishing chambers with intermediate sealed cup shaped longitudinal magnetic fields, and inner sealed glass bubble arc extinguishing chambers. The basic structure is as follows:

1) Airtight insulation shell

The airtight insulation system composed of a ceramic, glass or microcrystalline glass airtight insulation cylinder, a movable end cover, a fixed end cover, and a stainless steel corrugated pipe is a vacuum sealed container. To ensure airtightness, in addition to the strict operating procedures in the sealing type, the material itself is also required to have small breathability and internal gas release.

2) Conductive system

It is composed of a fixed conductive rod, a fixed running arc surface, a fixed contact, a moving contact, a moving arc surface, and a moving conductive rod. The contact structure can be roughly divided into three types: cylindrical contact, transverse magnetic field contact groove curved surface with spiral shape, and longitudinal magnetic field contact. At present, this type of arc extinguishing chamber adopts longitudinal magnetic field technology, which has strong and stable arc extinguishing ability.

3) Shielding system

Shielding cover is an indispensable component in the vacuum arc extinguishing chamber, and there are various types of shielding cover, such as the main shielding cover surrounding the contact point, corrugated pipe shielding cover, and voltage equalizing shielding cover. The function of the main shielding cover is as follows: ① To prevent products from splashing onto the inner wall of the insulation shell during the arc process, thereby reducing the insulation strength of the shell. ② Improving the uniformity of electric field distribution in the arc extinguishing chamber is beneficial for reducing local field strength and promoting the miniaturization of the vacuum arc extinguishing chamber Condensing arc products and absorbing some arc energy is beneficial for the recovery of the dielectric strength of the arc gap.

2. Operating mechanism

According to the different types of circuit breakers, different operating mechanisms are used. Common operating mechanisms include spring operating mechanism (VS1), permanent magnet operating mechanism, and combination operating mechanism (VBD).

What are the characteristics of vacuum circuit breakers

(1) Strong breaking capacity, up to 50kA; After fracture, the medium between the cracks recovers quickly and there is no need to replace the medium.

(2) The contact opening distance is small. The contact breaking distance of the 10kV vacuum circuit breaker is only about 10mm. The required operating power is small, the action is fast, the operating mechanism can be simplified, and the service life can be extended. Generally, maintenance is not required for around 20 years.

(3) Short arc extinguishing time, low arc voltage, low arc energy, low contact loss, and multiple interruptions.

(4) The mobile guide rod has small inertia and is suitable for frequent operation.

(5) When operating the switch, the action noise is low, making it suitable for urban use.

(6) Arc extinguishing or insulation media do not use oil, and there is no fire or explosion hazard.

(7) The contact head is a fully sealed structure, which will not reduce its performance due to the influence of moisture, dust, and harmful gases. Reliable operation and stable on-off performance. As an independent component, the arc extinguishing chamber is easy to install and debug.

(8) During the service life of the vacuum circuit breaker, the contact part does not require maintenance and inspection. Even if maintenance and inspection are carried out, the time required is very short.

(9) The arc is extinguished in a closed container, and the arc and hot gas are not exposed.

(10) Equipped with multiple reclosing functions, suitable for the application needs of distribution networks
