Xgn15-12 unit-type ac metal closed ring switch equipment (hereinafter referred to as ring cabinet) is a new generation of high voltage electrical products designed and developed by ourselves by introducing foreign advanced technology and in accordance with the requirements of domestic agricultural power and urban network transformation. The main switch, operating mechanism and components of the ring network cabinet shall be ABB's original parts or SFL-12/24 type switch equipment assembled from imported parts in China, or ABB's original HAD/US SF6 can also be installed according to user needs. Functions and Features

◆ Cabinet structure

The ring cabinet body is made of 2mm thick aluminum-zinc plate (or cold-rolled plate after plastic spraying) riveted and formed. There are two pressure release holes at the back of the cabinet, one for the cable room, the other for the load switch/bus room. This structure can ensure the reliability of human installation and operation of equipment to the maximum extent.

◆ Each compartment

Pieces of busbar chamber

The bus compartment is located at the top of the cabinet and connected to the adjacent switch cabinet.

◆ The load switch is an independent unit, filled with SF6 gas.

About 75% of the cable room is used for cable connection, fuse, ground switch and CT, PT installation.

◆ Mechanism chamber and interlock

The compartment contains the operating mechanism and mechanism interlocking as well as position indication, auxiliary contacts, trip coil, live display and interlocking.

Relay box The relay box is optional at the top of the cabinet. The chamber is used to install special equipment such as gauges, relays and motor units.

◆ Circuit breaker room

A circuit breaker (SF6 or vacuum) can be placed below the load switch.

The pressure release above is used to release the gas pressure generated when the arc accident occurs in the busbar and load switch room. The following pressure release is used to release the gas pressure generated when the arc accident occurs in the cable compartment.

◆SFL type load switch (ABB original)

SFL type load switch is double breakpoint, rotary moving contact, SF6 gas as arc extinguishing medium, static and dynamic contact is placed in the reinforced structure of the cast epoxy shell. The outlet end of the operating shaft is a transparent hot-pressed plastic end cover through which the state can be observed.

Each switch is permanently sealed (SFL stands for "always sealed") with SF6 gas at 1.4 bar and can be checked for gas leakage with an ammonia detector. Switch vertical or horizontal installation is not limited, in the unit cabinet, the typical installation is a steel partition between the cable room and the bus room, horizontal installation. This installation seals the switch housing in a grounded steel plate and isolates the bus from the cable connector to meet the strict safety requirements of operation and maintenance. In the event of an internal arc burning, there is a structural weakness at the rear of the housing that will fill the burst, diverting arc gas out of the switch, and then the arc relief valve on the cabinet will be burst open and directing the overpressurized gas out of the cabinet.
