Description

Dry-type transformers are widely welcomed for their oil-free properties and reduced fire-resistance rating requirements for buildings. In some special environments, only dry type transformers can be used, such as "multi-storey or high-rise main building". Therefore, in many places where oil-immersed transformers are not allowed, such as underground and high-rise buildings, places with high fire requirements can be designed as dry transformers. At present, epoxy resin casting dry transformer overcomes the problems of low heat resistance and easy aging and cracking of insulation materials. With the continuous development of insulating materials and the improvement of material performance, the insulation thermal resistance level can reach H class, which is the technical index that oil-immersed transformers can not achieve. Secondly, compared with the traditional oil-immersed transformer, dry transformer has the advantages of oil resistance, fire resistance, dustproof, moisture-proof, small partial discharge.

Insulated cylinders are placed between high and low voltage coils to increase electrical insulation and are supported and restrained by gaskets. The fasteners of the parts have anti-loosening properties.

Characteristics of dry type transformer in application：

Dry transformers work in the same way as other transformers, following the physics of voltage technology required to use electromagnetic coupling: when a current flows through a current in a wire, it creates a changing magnetic field or surrounding "magnetic field." Structural Characteristics:

Cast-foil Coil: Adopting the entire section of copper foil, together with the F-class turn insulation, low voltage winding is wound by the special low-voltage foil winding machine. The foil coil resolves such understanding problems as large short-circuit stress, uneven ampere turn, poor heat dissipation, existing the winding spiral angle as well as unsteady manual welding quality due to low voltage and large current coil winding products.
