This causes a slight melting phenomenon inside the line, resulting in a large amount of heat generated at the contact points between the box transformer equipment and the transmission line, making the contact between the two electrical components not very close.

If this situation occurs, the only solution is to replace the transmission lines between the equipment, install intelligent modules for the equipment, and timely control the input current and voltage of the equipment to ensure stable operation of the substation equipment.

In summary, poor contact of contacts is one of the main causes of box transformer softening faults, mostly caused by current or voltage imbalance between electrical components. This phenomenon is a very subtle change that is difficult to detect with the naked eye at present, and often affects the normal operation of the box transformer. The soft failure of the box transformer casing that power maintenance personnel are extremely afraid of can be completely addressed and resolved with careful and meticulous handling.
