The grounding transformer compartment mainly includes a complete set of resistance grounding devices, grounding resistors, grounding transformers, single pole isolation switches, current transformers, and other devices. The main function of the equipment is to reduce the power frequency overvoltage level during single-phase grounding faults. When a single-phase ground fault occurs, the current flowing through the fault point is the capacitive current of the distribution system. Due to the small capacitive current, it is easy to generate discontinuous arc current at the fault point, resulting in higher overvoltage.

Prefabricated cabin substations have the characteristics of standardization, modularization, and prefabricated manufacturing in the industry.

Standardization refers to the improvement of the size of the standard container installed in the cabin, followed by improvements in various aspects. Make it a suitable box for substation use.

Modularization means that the cabin is divided into several modular compartments according to the different functions of the electrical equipment it is located in.
