Power transmission operation of KYN28A-12 high voltage switchgear

Apr 20, 2022

1. Push the circuit breaker handcart (or PT handcart) into the KYN28 switch cabinet through the handcart transfer trolley. When the handcart enters the cabinet, simultaneously pull the left and right handles of the handcart inward to the handle II position and push the handcart into the test position of the switch cabinet. Then push the left and right handles of the handcart outwards to the handle I position at the same time, so that the handcart propulsion mechanism and the switch cabinet are securely locked.

2. Insert the secondary plug of the handcart into the secondary socket of the KYN28 switch cabinet and lock it with a fastener.

3. Close the rear door (cable room door) and the front door (circuit breaker room door) of the KYN28 switch cabinet. Open the grounding knife operating valve, use the grounding knife operating handle (counterclockwise) to open the grounding knife, pull out the grounding knife operating handle to close the grounding knife operating valve, and confirm that the grounding knife is in the open state.

4. Check that the control, closing, signal, AC and bus voltage power switches (or secondary fuses) in the instrument room are in the closed state. And after measuring the power supply voltage in the normal range, close the door of the instrument room.

5. Use the local or remote operation mode to control the operation (in the test position of the switch cabinet) to close and divide the circuit breaker once, and confirm that the circuit breaker control circuit wiring and signal circuit display are correct.

6. Open the operating valve of the handcart mechanism, push the crank handle with the handcart (clockwise) and push the handcart into the working position of the switch cabinet (the handcart will make a "click" locking sound when it reaches the working position). Take out the handcart push handle and close the handcart mechanism operating valve.

7. Control and operate the circuit breaker (in the working position of the switchgear) by local or remote operation.

8. Check that the A/B/C three-phase indicator lights of the live display of the KYN28 switch cabinet are on. At this time, the switch cabinet is already in a high-voltage live state. Measure or observe whether the bus voltage and outgoing current displayed by the microcomputer protection device are in the normal range.
