What is a high-voltage switchgear?
High-voltage switchgear refers to electrical products with a voltage level of 3.6 kV to 550 kV, which are used for power generation, transmission, distribution, power conversion and consumption of the power system.
High-voltage switchgear is a high-voltage power distribution device, which involves the complete assembly of primary equipment and secondary equipment in accordance with a certain wiring scheme. It is used to control and protect generators, power transformers and high-voltage lines in power plants and substations. Equipped with high-voltage switch cabinets, protective appliances, inspection and measuring instruments, bus bars, insulators, etc. There are two types of high-voltage switchgear, fixed type and handcart type, which are generally used in substations of small and medium-sized factories. Most of them use relatively economical fixed high-voltage cabinets.
The main components of the 10kV switchgear include: vacuum circuit breakers, current transformers, on-site microcomputer protection devices, operating circuit accessories: handles, indicator lights, pressure plates, etc. And various position auxiliary switches.
Among them, the circuit breaker and the current transformer are installed inside the switch cabinet. The microcomputer protection, accessories and electric energy meter are installed on the panel of the relay room (actually there is no relay). The junction box and various power air switches are installed inside the relay room, and the junction box is connected to the circuit breaker mechanism through a control cable or a special socket.
Operation requirements for high-voltage switchgear: The operator must hold a special post operation certificate (high-voltage network access certificate). High-pressure operation requires two people to perform, one to operate, and one to supervise. Operators must understand the status and work content of the high-voltage switchgear, be familiar with the performance and operation methods of the high-voltage switchgear they are operating, and take safety organizational measures and safety technical measures during the operation. Before operation, check insulating gloves, insulating shoes and operating rods. If there is any moisture, cracks or damage, and the insulation record is lower than the voltage to be operated, operation is prohibited. During operation, wear some insulating and insulating gloves. Operate strictly in accordance with the order of operation. After a power failure, a warning sign should be hung on the high-voltage switchgear and locked.
