What is the biggest difference between indoor and outdoor ring network cabinets
The ring network cabinet is generally composed of four parts: a switch room, a fuse room, an operating mechanism room, and a cable room (chassis).
The switch room is composed of various functional circuits (including grounding switches and load switches) sealed in a metal shell, as well as busbars between the circuits. The shell is welded from 3mm cold-rolled steel plate (or stainless steel plate). Each functional circuit includes a load switch and a grounding switch. The load switch is composed of a vertical moving contact system and a fixed contact located at the lower end. When the switch is closed, the moving contact moves downward and the load switch is connected. The grounding switch is composed of a moving contact knife and a static contact knife. During the spring movement, the grounding switch is quickly connected. There are four rectangular assembly process holes in the upper and rear of the switch room, and an observation window is installed on the front of the ring main cabinet to see the "open" and "close" positions of the grounding switch. An explosion-proof device is installed at the rear of the ring main unit.
The load switch adopts a compressed air internal blowing structure, which has strong arc extinguishing ability and does not affect the insulation between phases and ground. Both the dynamic and static contacts are equipped with arc contacts, greatly increasing the number of interruptions.
The fuse and the load switch room form a transformer protection circuit, and the high-voltage current limiting fuse is installed in an epoxy cast insulation shell. After the fuse blows, a firing pin pops up and the load switch opens.
The operating mechanism room is located on the front of the ring network cabinet. In each functional circuit, the load switch is equipped with a manual (or electric) energy storage spring operating mechanism, and the grounding switch is equipped with a manual energy storage spring operating mechanism. The panel has rotating buttons for load switch closing and manual opening, as well as opening and closing operation holes for the grounding switch. The load switch opening and closing position indicator light and electric opening and closing buttons are also equipped with analog lines The switch status display board and locking position, as well as the operation of the load switch and grounding switch, are equipped with interlocking devices to prevent misoperation.
During installation, the ring network cabinets should be arranged on the channel steel of the foundation in sequence. The cabinet body should be tightly pressed and fixed with bolts. The cabinet surface should be arranged neatly, and the distance between the cabinet top and the roof should be greater than 600mm.
The bottom of the ring main cabinet is equipped with cable terminal blocks. Three core or single core cables are crimped onto the terminal blocks and connected to the terminal blocks of the ring main cabinet before being tightened with bolts.
Install the main busbar inside the busbar compartment of each cabinet and tighten it with bolts. The surface of the fixed overlap surface needs to be coated with tin.
The main grounding of the ring main cabinet is connected to the grounding wire of the distribution room, which should be able to withstand the thermal mechanical stress caused by short circuits and ensure the continuity of the grounding circuit.
After installation, open and close the switch components and anti misoperation mechanism 5 times. If no abnormalities occur, the mechanical operation of the switch is considered normal.
