Safety measures for high voltage switchgear

The high-voltage switchgear works on fully and partially charged disks, and maintenance equipment and operating equipment should be separated by obvious signs. The secondary windings of current transformers and voltage transformers are reliable and reliably earthed. The following safety measures should be taken when working on secondary circuits running current transformers.

1. It is strictly forbidden to disconnect the current circulation.

2. In order to reliably short-circuit the secondary coil of the current transformer, you must use short paths and short routes to prohibit the use of wires.

3. It is forbidden to do any work on the loop and wire between the current transformer and the short-circuit terminal.

4. When working in the secondary circuit of a voltage transformer in operation.

The following safety measures are required for high-voltage switchgear equipment:

1. It is strictly forbidden to disconnect the current loop.

2. You should use insulation tools, wear insulating gloves, and it is necessary to deactivate the relay protection device before working.

3. When connecting to temporary loads, special switches and fuses must be installed.

4. When the auxiliary circuit is turned on, in order to prevent the secondary lateral reverse transformation, the secondary circuit is disconnected, and the next fuse should also be removed.

5. Before the secondary circuit is energized or the withstand voltage test, the duty officer and relevant personnel should be notified, and personnel should be sent to guard the site to check the circuit and confirm that no one is working before pressurization.

6. Check the power protection and secondary circulation of the staff, and do not allow any transformation operation without permission. The high voltage switchgear is the power system, the main control switch in the cabinet, then goes to the control switch and sets each shunt according to it. Such as instrumentation, automatic control, motor magnetic switch, various communication contactors, etc.
