Maintenance process of ring main unit

1. Check whether the fasteners of the ring main unit are rusted or loose. If it is found, effective specific measures should be taken to properly handle it to ensure that the ring main unit can work normally.

2. Check whether the insulating sheath on the busbar surface of the ring main unit is cracked to prevent common faults such as leakage and short circuit.

3. Before maintenance, it must be powered off for maintenance, and try to avoid live control, so as not to damage the mechanical equipment, and even cause harm to the personal safety of maintenance personnel.

4. Check whether the load switch and fuse in the ring main unit are abnormal, and ensure that their basic functions are normal.

5. Prevent animals such as mice and snakes from entering the ring main unit, causing damage to internal circuits, and preventing common faults such as short circuits and leakage.

6. Make sure the surface and interior of the ring main unit are clean and tidy. Remove the deposited dust and attached stains on time to prevent long-term deposition from damaging the electrical performance indicators and mechanical properties of the ring main unit.

7. Check whether the control mechanism of the ring main unit is flexible, whether the information displayed by the instruments is normal and consistent with the current operation mode, whether the maintenance of each relay is in a normal working state, and there is no abnormal noise or smell.

8. Whether the connection of each node of the conductive part of the ring main unit is inseparable and whether there is corrosion. If there is corrosion, it should be properly treated for the corrosion layer.

9. Check whether the grounding protection of the high-voltage ring main unit is corroded, and whether the connector is loose, overheated, cracked, etc.
