Under the premise of not affecting the internal space size and volume requirements of the switchgear, the manufacturing, assembly and initial design of larger creeping distance insulating components are carried out.
(3) It is recommended that during the production and processing of the switchgear, a withstand voltage test should be carried out in an environment where the external insulation is exposed, so that the switchgear has better environmental adaptability and guarantees long-term application stability. In this way, through the high-endurance test of the switch cabinet in the production process, not only its adaptability can be improved, but also the safety guarantee for the operator can be given.
(4) In order to enhance the actual operating stability of the switchgear, heat-shrinkable rubber can be selected to tightly wrap the live components in the 35kV medium-voltage switchgear. After this treatment, the internal live parts of the switchgear are avoided and prevented from being exposed. And it brings work inconvenience and personal safety accidents. And it reduces and delays the harmful gas's corrosion and pollution flashover damage to the electrical equipment in the cabinet, and greatly enhances the insulation level of the switch cabinet.
(5) Adopt advanced production technology and manufacturing methods of switch cabinet components, and configure centralized assembly technical measures and composite design of components, and adopt suitable switch cabinet insulation design methods. For example, the contact box and insulator of the TA bushing of the KYN switchgear is to choose the suitable insulation coordination of the combined structure to enhance its insulation level.
(6) Do a good job in matching and selecting the switching devices in the medium voltage switchgear, especially TA (TV), you should choose products with better volt-ampere characteristics, and use partitions with good fire resistance and insulation.
(7) The assembly, putting into and use of the switchgear must always be implemented in accordance with the corresponding specifications. In order to avoid accidents, the quality supervision during the manufacturing process of the switchgear should be improved. The internal metal framework and the metal brackets of the electrical components in the switch cabinet must be grounded in accordance with the specifications and standards, and be reliably connected to the grounding body.
(8) To ensure that the switchgear has a good operating environment, the holes and small holes in the assembly should be blocked to prevent metal bodies, small animals and their moisture from entering the switchgear, which may reduce the insulation of the switchgear. In addition, the isolation room between the exhaust fan and the ventilation window needs to be equipped with a filter or a mesh grid, so that dust enters little and improves the ventilation level. For special environments, switch rooms that are prone to moisture intrusion can be equipped with special dehumidification devices to enhance the insulation capacity of the switch cabinet and its electrical components. The inverted funnel or fuel-resistant seals can be selected to block the openings and cable holes of the switch cabinet to prevent small animals and moisture from entering the medium voltage switch cabinet. It is necessary to formulate detailed and clear inspection and maintenance guidelines and regulations for the switchgear, and in actual work, implement the corresponding regulations and technical protection measures to achieve clear rewards and punishments, and require cleaning at every stop, reaching the 5S standard, so that The medium voltage switchgear can operate in a good environment and a complete system to ensure its insulation level, avoid and reduce electrical accidents.
