Component structure and voltage level of box-type substation
Jul 27, 2020
Box-type substations are also called box-type transformers, pre-installed substations, etc., and are divided into American box-type transformers and European-style box-type transformers.
The electrical equipment components in the box-type substation are all selected final products, and the technical performance of the components meets the requirements of the corresponding standards. Box-type substations also have the functions of electric energy detection, display, and measurement, and can realize corresponding protection functions. They are also equipped with dedicated grounding guides and have obvious grounding signs.
In order to adapt to the outdoor working environment, the shell top of the box change generally adopts a compartment structure, and is equipped with heat insulation materials. There are cooling air inlets and outlets between the bottom of the box and each room, using natural air cooling and automatically controlled forced air cooling, etc. Various forms to ensure the normal heat dissipation of electrical equipment, with measures to prevent rain, dust, and prevent small animals from entering
At present, the voltage level of domestically produced box-type substations is 3 ~ 35kV on the high voltage side and 0.4 ~ 10kV on the low voltage side. The capacity of the transformer, when the rated voltage ratio is 35/10, 6, 0.4 kV, can range from hundreds of kVA to tens of thousands of kVA, and when the rated voltage ratio is 10, 6/0.4 kV, it can range from tens-thousands of kVA.
