Vacuum Type Circuit Breaker

A circuit breaker is generally composed of a contact system, an arc extinguishing system, an operating mechanism, a release, and a casing.

The vacuum circuit breaker is named because both the arc extinguishing medium and the insulating medium of the contact gap after arc extinguishing are high vacuum. It has the advantages of small size, light weight, suitable for frequent operation, and no need for arc extinguishing maintenance.

Vacuum circuit breaker is an indoor power distribution device in a 3-10kV, 50Hz three-phase AC system, which can be used as protection and control of electrical equipment in industrial and mining enterprises, power plants and substations.

Normal working conditions

1. Ambient temperature: the highest temperature is +40°C, the lowest temperature is -15°C (storage and transportation are allowed at -30°C).

2. Environmental humidity: daily average relative humidity ≤ 95%, monthly average relative humidity ≤ 90%. The daily average saturated vapor pressure is ≤ 2.2×10-3 MPa, and the monthly average saturated vapor pressure is ≤ 1.8×10-3 MPa.

3. Altitude: no more than 1000m.

4. Earthquake intensity: no more than 8 degrees.

5. Use place: no flammable, explosion hazard, chemical corrosion and severe vibration.
