Low voltage switchgear, also known as low-voltage switchgear, is mainly used in the low-voltage distribution part of the power system and is often installed in the distribution room. It consists of terminal blocks, various switches, protection equipment (air switches, fuses, etc.), measuring equipment (voltmeter, ammeter, etc.), and metering equipment (active and reactive power meters, etc.).

Divided into two types: drawer type and fixed type; Fixed type refers to fixed installation, while drawer type refers to the flexible assembly of certain electrical components into several functional units according to a certain circuit scheme, and then into a distribution panel (cabinet). Each functional unit is similar to a drawer, but it can be pulled out or UI like, so it is also called a pull-out type. Usually installed off the wall and can be maintained on both sides.

The functions of low-voltage switchgear are generally as follows:

1. Reasonably configure power supply;

2. When there is a fault in the circuit, it is beneficial to control the scope of the fault and facilitate the quick identification and elimination of the fault point;

3. Easy to arrange line maintenance in sections without the need for large-scale power outages;

4. Convenient placement of various protective devices inside the distribution cabinet (such as fuses to prevent short circuits, air switches to prevent overload, etc.)

Typical problems that may occur in low-voltage switchgear include the inability of circuit breakers to close, the inability of the main switch in the incoming cabinet to open, the reversal or non rotation of the main metering reactive power, the inability of the drawer to turn the meter, and the inability to automatically switch between dual power sources

GCK low-voltage switchgear is a multifunctional power distribution equipment with advantages such as compact structure, complete functions, and simple operation. It is widely used in various industrial and civil building power distribution systems.

The basic structure of the GCK low-voltage switchgear shell includes the main busbar room, branch circuit breaker room, switch control room, cable room, lighting sockets, and other parts.

1. The main busbar room is located at the top of the GCK low-voltage switchgear and consists of an enclosed box. There are three busbars installed in the main busbar room, which are connected to the incoming cabinet through terminal blocks and are responsible for inputting power to all circuits in the GCK low-voltage switchgear.

2. The branch circuit breaker room is located below the main busbar room and occupies a large area in the GCK low-voltage switchgear. This is the core area of the entire switchgear, mainly used for installing components such as branch circuit breakers, current transformers, fuses, etc., to achieve current branching, monitoring, and protection. There are also power displays, fault indicator lights, and other equipment installed in the branch circuit breaker room.

3. The switch control room is located below the branch circuit breaker room and is a relatively small area in the GCK low-voltage switchgear. The switch control room is equipped with various control components and indicator lights, such as buttons, indicator lights, remote control interfaces, fuses, etc., to achieve switch control and monitoring.

4. The cable room is located at the bottom of the GCK low-voltage switchgear, mainly used for installing various incoming and outgoing cable lines, and for maintenance and protection. The cable room is also equipped with supporting equipment such as air switches and fuses to ensure the safe power supply of various electrical equipment.

5. Lighting sockets are usually installed above or on the side of the GCK low-voltage switchgear casing to provide light sources for users. Lighting sockets can connect various lighting fixtures such as LED lamps and fluorescent tubes, enabling operators to clearly see the inside of the switchgear and improve work efficiency.
