Medium Voltage Ring Main Unit

The ring main unit is a group of electrical equipment used for power distribution, installed in a metal or non-metal insulated cabinet, or assembled by spaced ring network power supply devices. It is widely used in distribution stations and box-type substations of load centers in urban residential areas, high-rise buildings, large public buildings, factories and enterprises.

There are three main types of ring network cabinets on the market: gas insulation, air insulation and solid insulation. It is used to disconnect the short-circuit current and no-load current of the transformer, and to control the charging current of overhead lines and cables within a certain range. It is an important switching device for ring power supply and terminal power supply.

Working conditions:

Ambient temperature: upper limit + 40℃, lower limit -25℃;

Altitude: not more than 2000m;

Relative temperature: daily average value does not exceed 95%; monthly average value does not exceed 90%;

The surrounding air is obviously not polluted by corrosive gas, combustible gas, water vapor, etc.

There is no frequent severe vibration.
