22KV Electrical Ring Main Unit (RMU)

22KV electrical ring main unit (RMU)switchgear refers to the ring network power distribution network. Its main function is to realize dual-loop or multi-loop power supply to improve the reliability of power supply.

Because of its small size, safe operation and simple structure, it is widely used in buildings, ports, shopping centers and railways.

The ring main unit (rmu) switchgear has two feeder forms, namely the incoming unit and the outgoing unit. The incoming unit is connected to the high-voltage side, and the outgoing unit (usually an F module) is connected to the distribution transformer. It can protect the secondary transformer from transients on the load or power supply side.
